twice in one day

OK so I'm in Colorado granny nannying my great granddaughter loving every minute of it.. so in my junking journeys since ive been here I have found some great pottery pieces.. Oh and my granddaughter and her husband bought me a new laptop yesterday so I'm trying to figure out how to download pics, and by golly I think iv,e got it.. testing one two three this is one of the great signed pottery pieces I have found here in the springs... this is signed a real nice piece ... yippee I'm not as dumb as I think I am.. hahaha more likely the computer is just smarter than me, regardless I figured out how to import pics.. so this would be a darling little candle holder or garlic holder or whatever you want holder you decide.. stay tuned ..

wow long time no write

I was just checking out my blog and realized its been almost a year since ive posted.. I'm ashamed of myself , as I hate it when I find a blog I want to read and its been neglected for this long.. so ive done what I complain about others doing.. shame on me. id like to say that I will change but time does get away from me but I will try to do better..

Beer Stiens and Christmas Parties

Hubby and I had a fun weekend. We caught up with some out of town friends and celebrated a late Christmas with them.. IT WAS HILLARIOUS..  we laughed and laughed .. what fun it was...  I also was able to buy  beer stein collection that I will be listing in my etsy shop this week below is a picture of the steins

chair re-do and scotty dog licorice

I bought this nice oak chair the other day but the coushion was ikky.. os I had a pair of curtains I had bouht at a yard sale forever ago that I loved the material of, so I knew it would be perf for the chair.. it is perfect but it wasn't quite big enough so I ad to piece it together.. nota great upholstery job, but looks good. I gave it to my husband for his chair as he sits at the table with his computer.. what do you think??

it looks pretty good.. so after that I wanted a little snack. I had put some scotttie dog licorice in my husbands stocking for Christmas.. so I opened the bag to have a few and to my delight they are actually scotie dog shaped.. toooo cute
